Carlos Alcaraz Defeats Alexander Zverev In Roland Garros Final Paris--At Roland Garros earlier this month, the third seeded Carlos Alcaraz of Spain defeated the fourth seeded Alexander Zverev of Germany 6-3, 2-6, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 to win his third grand slam title.

The 21 year old Alcaraz kept the 27 year old Zverev on the run in set one before Zverev used powerful serves and backhands to take the following two sets.

Alcaraz mixed soft dropshots with forceful groundstrokes to take set four.

Alcaraz also targeted the Zverev forehand in baseline rallies which is not as solid as the Zverev backhand.
